After over 2 months of planning and a month of development, GCJ finally unveiled the new website during the worship service last Sunday. The new site currently has over 10 sections, some aimed at members and other pages for people who are seeking to know more about GCJ and the services it offers. 

Some of the main features of the site include a daily updated devotional, a preview and download page for Heartsongs music and a news and events page that has both text-based articles and a media section for church news (video), podcasts and audio sermons. GCJ CONNECT, the members-only section of the site provides information about cell groups and ministries is also one of its features. It allows members of the church to be informed and kept up to date with what’s going inside GCJ. 

Although some of the pages are still being developed, the GCJ webteam is very confident that the site will provide the added support GCJ needs in proclaiming the Word of God through the internet. Some modifications and additions are already being talked about and a few other people have already expressed their interest to help in the development of the website. Initial ideas about making the website play a major part in event registrations is also one of the things to look forward to.
