God is not someone who is so far away that it is impossible to reach Him , or someone who will punish you for every time you do something wrong as some people perceives Him to be.

Actually He is closer than you think. As a matter of fact God is interested in your life regardless of what stage you are in your life’s journey. He is so interested in your life that He was willing to send His only Son Jesus to die for you in order to spend eternity with you.

The Bible says “for God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. – John 3:16″ So you see, your life counts as far as God is concerned. Just as an earthly father cares and loves his child, so does God. He wants to have a relationship with you through thick and thin, with a promise of never to leave you nor to forsake you. What an awesome promise from a God who is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore!

“What on earth am I here for” you may ask? Well It’s really quite simple. It is to love God and to love others. Your life has a purpose and God has designed it way before you were born in this world, regardless of what others have said about you.

How are you doing in your life? Are you broken, weary, or loosing to find hope and meaning in your life? Is your heart still empty longing to be filled and satisfied despite of all the material objects you have acquired this world can give, or just simply at the end of your rope?

Guess what? Only Jesus has the answer, and only He can satisfy that vacuum that longs to be filled; and the great news about it – It’s Free. You don’t need even have donate or send any financial or monetary funds, or be part of an elite group of people to acquire it. Above all, it’s eternal. All you need is an earnest, heartfelt prayer to God like this one:

Father, I recognize that I need you in my life. I know that I have sinned and my life is in a mess, but I thank you for the salvation that is free. Right now, I receive Jesus as my Saviour and Lord. I give Him my life so that I may have one that is transformed, and one that is new with a purpose. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
